Welcome to the Blog: Romance With Real Stakes
Romance author Gianna Vitale opens her blog: what you'll find here, the happily-ever-after promise, and where to start reading.
Hi. I'm Gianna, and I write romance for readers who like their love stories with real stakes. Second chances, slow burns, grand gestures, and the kind of chemistry that makes a quiet room feel loud. If that sounds like your shelf, pull up a chair. This blog is for you.
What this is
Mostly, it's me talking about love stories: the ones I write, the ones I can't stop rereading, and the tropes I'll defend to anyone who'll listen. Some weeks it'll be behind-the-scenes on a book. Some weeks it'll be a reading list. Some weeks it'll be an argument about why the slow burn is superior, and I will win.
I'll post every week through the end of the year, and nothing here will spoil a book beyond what the back cover already tells you.
The promise
Every book I write comes with the same guarantee: chemistry you can feel, characters worth rooting for, and a happily ever after waiting at the end. The settings change, the heat level may vary, but the promise never does. I'll talk more about why that matters to me next week.
Where to start
I started out in dark mafia romance, and those first two books are still out there for readers who like a little danger with their devotion. The Don's Wrong Bride is the one with the marriage contract, the missing forty-eight hours, and a don who controls a room without raising his voice. Kept by the Enforcer is the one with the forensic accountant, the parking garage, and twelve days in a Brooklyn brownstone.
From here on, I'm writing romance in all its shades. Different stories, different kinds of love, same promise. You can read a little more about me on the About page, and find everything I've published on my Amazon author page.
A note on the publisher
My books are published by Jove Publishing LLC, a small independent press that also publishes thrillers, epic fantasy, and activity books. Small presses live on word of mouth, so if you love a book, telling one friend does more than you'd think.
Thanks for being here. See you Tuesday.
